China Works, formerly Southbank House, is a Grade II-listed building dating back to the 1800s, originally the Royal Doulton pottery office. It offers modern office spaces and meeting rooms, retaining many original architectural features. Situated along the River Thames, it provides excellent transport links, with the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye nearby.
China Works is in Vauxhall, near the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye. Vauxhall Station offers access to the Victoria Line, National Rail, and the Underground for easy commuting.
Originally the Royal Doulton office in the 1800s, the building later hosted the DVLA’s London taxi drivers' "Knowledge" training. Today, China Works offers modern offices and workspaces in a restored terracotta building, featuring sculptures by George Tinworth and Hannah Barlow.
Located in a prime area of central London, it’s only a short walk to both the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye. The building features a mix of office spaces and studios. The neighborhood is well-connected by public transport, offering easy access to Vauxhall, Waterloo, and Victoria main line and underground stations.
